  A visit to Neringa Energy

  Vizitas į Neringos Energiją

visit to Neringa Energy Our class visited ,,Neringa Energy“ that is a supplier of central heating to our town. It is focused on thermal energy production namely on biofuel. The guide showed us the building from inside how the system works and told us about biofuel. We have found out one of the facts that biofuel is made from burning sawdust. With the help of biofuel, we live in warm and cozy houses. We live in a unique area, where there is no deforestation for the purpose to produce biofuel. The Curonian Spit is protected by Unesco, so we have to buy sawdust in various auctions which take place every Tuesday. We are happy to know that we live in an enviromentally friendly area and do not do harm to our planet.
